Campers (ages 6-14) will learn parkour skills, develop body awareness, and conquer fun challenges in this movement-focused camp! No previous parkour experience is needed!
Campers are not required to participate in any activities they aren’t comfortable with, but are encouraged to try new activities and will often be given limited options if they’d like to differ from what is planned. Arts/crafts or spectating/helping with the game will always be options for campers who have certain activities they prefer not to join.
During Lunch and Break times we take a break from the gym and open up a mix of sit down games and activities indoors or play with balls and other toys out in the parking lot with the gates closed.
Every week will include group games and parkour, but each week’s theme will provide different experiences.
THEMES!
PARKOUR- Our go to camp option, a parkour themed week will include more instruction and parkour specific games and activities! Most weeks of camp are parkour themed as it’s our specialty!
NERF- For campers who want nerf games and battles in their camp experience! Each nerf week will include a variety of different nerf games as well as many additional activities and parkour instruction! We have nerf equipment provided!
NINJA WARRIOR- If you want to test your agility with obstacle courses and ninja skills, this is the camp for you! During these weeks we’ll be setting up some unique obstacles you wouldn’t normally get to do in the gym! As with all our camps, there will still be some parkour instruction and lots of games!
Arrival:
Please come in to check in your child in the morning. Drop offs no earlier than 8:45am. If you do not know your child’s pickup code (it should be emailed to you), then you can get it from the staff member at drop off.
Pick up:
Remember to tell whoever is picking up your child the required pick up code to sign out your child at the end of the day! Pick up is at 2pm.
Food must be brought from home – we will not be providing food, juice, etc. We will have one lunch 30 min lunch break and usually have 2 10-15 min breaks for snacks & taking a breather. Definitely pack a full lunch and if there’s extra, that could be good for snack break! We take our breaks outside, weather permitting.
We have a drinking fountain but we recommend clients bring a water bottle and use the water bottle filling station as well.
We will not be allowing use of phones, tablets, or other electronics like this during camp.
We require campers to wash or sanitize their hands before any lunch or snack time.
A Lunch + snack – The kids get a good amount of movement, and so they’re going to need some fuel! A full lunch is good and if there is extra then it gives them something to eat during one of our shorter snack breaks.
A water bottle – Our drinking fountain is open again, but we recommend you bring a water bottle to be used at our water bottle filling station.
Clothes that are comfortable to move around in! Other than that dress weather appropriate. If it’s cold in the morning, it’ll be cold in the gym, so bring a jacket!
Athletic shoes, preferably with rubbery grip on the bottom! Campers often go barefoot in the gym, but we may be spending time outside in our paved parking lot (with access gates closed), so campers may need athletic shoes!
Thanks,
Flying Frog Academy
